Historic Times started out as a small printed magazine in Slovenia. To our surprise, it quickly became something people really loved, a little window into the past that readers looked forward to each month. The stories connected with people, and that connection meant a lot to us.
That’s why we decided to bring it online and share it with the rest of the world. We’re translating the stories into English (and soon other languages too), so that anyone, anywhere, can enjoy them. And we’ve kept it completely free, because history should be for everyone.
This is our way of keeping those stories alive and passing them on, not just facts and dates, but the human moments that remind us of who we are and where we came from.
